1. Reserve today - pay later
- When a deal shows the “Book now, Pay later” tag, you can book your stay without paying upfront.
- During the booking completion, you still enter a valid credit-card number, but no money is taken until the payment date shown. The payment timeline will be repeated in your booking confirmation email.
2. What happens to your card in the meantime?
- Our payment partner may run a temporary pre-authorisation to verify the card and check that enough funds are available.
- This is not a charge; the hold disappears automatically. (More details in our Pre-authorisation article.)
3. Payment day
- On the scheduled date, we will charge the card you provided.
- The moment the payment succeeds, you’ll get a payment confirmation email.
- You can also choose to pay earlier by clicking on the “Complete payment” button in your confirmation email.
If the payment doesn’t go through
If we’re unable to charge your card on the scheduled payment date, we’ll notify you via email. You’ll have two options:
- Wait for the next charge: Your payment will be automatically rescheduled, giving you the opportunity to resolve any issues with your bank. The new payment time and date will be shown in the email.
- Pay now: Click “Complete payment” in the email and use any other accepted card or payment method.
- We make up to three attempts to charge the original card.
- After the third failure, you’ll still have 8 hours to pay with a different method.
If you don’t make the payment within those 8 hours → the booking is automatically canceled and cannot be restored.
Book today with “Book Now, Pay Later,” relax until the payment date, and keep an eye on your inbox in case your card needs attention.
